Competitive Squads

Below are the training times and venues for the different squads:

Sunday evening training sessions for now will be joint between Seaclose SC and West Wight SC. These will run for Seniors and Pre-Seniors between 5pm and 7pm.

Junior Squad £21.50

  • Tuesday 06.00 – 07.30 OR  19.00 – 20.00  Medina Pool

Total number of pool hours available 6 1/2 Hrs

Note: Swimmers Should aim to attend at least three pool training sessions per week.

Pre – Senior £24.00

  • Tuesday  06.00 – 07.30  Medina Pool
  • Tuesday  20.00 – 21.00  Medina Pool 
  • Wednesdsay 06.00 – 07.30  Medina Pool
  • Thursday  06.00 – 07.30  Medina Pool

Note: All senior squad members should aim to attend at least five pool sessions and at least 75% of all training sessions per week.

 
Please note:
Seaclose Swimming Club compete in a number of leagues and galas on the mainland throughout the year and all swimmers will be advised by the coaching staff if they are required.  All swimmers are also encouraged to compete at local championships and open meets where ever possible – please speak to your coaches if in any doubt. The club does have iPads which may be used during training sessions to analyse technique. Once analysis has been carried out the video will be deleted straight away.   Should parents have any concerns with this or anything at all concerning your child, please contact one of the coaches or the welfare officer in the first instance.
