AGM – 8th Feb 2012
Seaclose Swimming Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th February 2012 in the Café at Medina Leisure Centre Fairlee Road Newport 7.30pm. The AGM covers all aspects of the club and we invite parents from both teaching and coaching sections to join us. Over the past few years the number of parents coming forward to help within the club has dwindled. Seaclose is a totally Volunteers’ run club, whether it is coaches/lifeguards/teachers on poolside, or people behind the scenes doing admin. The club is run by a small committee, many of whom no longer have children swimming. As a committee we would like to be able to bring in more volunteers, there are many jobs that do not involve being on poolside and could take someone a small amount of time each month. The AGM is your chance to let us know what you want from the club, ie social events, club desk (during training) Most of the Coaches and Teachers will be present on the night and we will have a question and answer session. It is also a chance to talk to Coaches/teachers away from the poolside. If you feel you would be able to assist the club in anyway we can answer questions and will have information regarding the help we need available on the night.
